6 Months Old

Can you believe it? Parker is 6 months old. Half a year! It does not seem like he should be half a year old already..my baby is growing so fast! Parker had his check up last friday, he is 19lbs 11oz and 26.5 in long..he is in the 90th percentile! He is sitting up on his own, squealing, babbling, playing with toys and trying to figure things out, eating solids like he has been doing it for years, drinking from a sippy cup, listening to me read him books, looking up at us when we call his name, holding his own bottle(when he feels like it) rolling over both ways, sleeping on his tummy, picking up his paci and putting it in and out of his mouth, laughing up a storm and he has started scooting just a little. Those are just a handful of the things Parker is doing now. I can remember when we just wanted him to smile at us! Now all I need to do is look at him and he grins ear to ear! I love my sweet baby and thank the lord for blessing us with such a wonderful little boy!!

June Already!?

**6 months ago...**

So I tried to change my background to something more fun and festive. Well as you can see that did not work, I guess the blogger blog has a new system they are working with that I cannot figure out. Stay tuned..maybe Anna can help me out when we go home in a few weeks.

Can you believe it is already JUNE! Where in the world is the time going? I am happy that we only have one year exactly(give or take a few weeks) left her in Miami. Jimmy and I are so ready to pack up Parker and head towards home and never look back!! But it also means Parker is almost half a year old. It seems like we have always had him but wow..it was just December and he was such a peanut!! Sigh... Well here are some pictures from the last few days. Parker sure is growing fast.. The two videos are sooo cute!
