Stretch Mark Poem

I saw this poem on the Coastie Chicks website and thought I would share, It is so sweet and made me tear up.... Hope you like! :)

Miami Dolphins Game

So last night I went to a yummy restaurant called The Ark. It was a huge buffett type place with Crab Legs, any type of seafood you could want(minus the fried kind you get in NC) meats, fruit, soups, salads, sides and yummmyy desserts! I ate so much I think the baby and I both went into a food induced coma state..lol. After dinner Dennis,Vivian and I headed down the road a few miles to the Dophins stadium. It was around 7, and the dark rain clouds were getting closer and closer! We made it to kickoff and part of the first quarter then the Rain came. Im not talking a light mist lol It was a down pour! I luckly had Jimmy's rain jacket and we made it to dry land while it went over. It sprinkled a little more later in the game but it lightening and thundering the whole time, that was a little scary. But let me tell you these Miami people are crazy!! They were all loud and half were drunk..the cheerleaders danced almost the entire time to every new popular song that is being played on the radio..It was a fun party game environment! Something you have to experience yourself!! But anyways here are some pictures from yesterday!! By the way they were playing Carolina.

21 Weeks

Here I am at 21 weeks. The babe and I are both doing great. Had my checkup and we are right on track. Jimmy is underway somewhere between Key West and Cuba. I will hopefully get to talk to him on Thursday. He did get to call me the last two days because the boat needed some work done on the AC and radio....also one of the seaman was so sea sick that he needed medical attention, so they pulled into port in Key West for two days. He said it was HOT on the boat and that he was hoping these two years go by fast ;) I am praying that they do. We are more than ready to see beautiful NC everyday!

I found out this past week that my mom has a cousin that lives in Miami. Him and his wife recently moved to Miami after he commuted here every week for work. Could you imagine flying or driving from Raleigh NC to Miami every week for YEARS?? I could not! But anyways there names are Dennis and Vivian. They called me once my mom got in touch with them, they are taking me to dinner and the Miami Dolphins/Carolina Panthers game tomorrow. I am so very glad to have family close by! They said that they are going to be keeping an eye on me and getting me outta the house while Jimmy is gone. Yay for that :)

Well I suppose that it all I have..I'm a pretty boring person lately. All I do is nap and eat! lol..It is so hot out that I am not even attempting the pool anymore...don't want to bake the baby!! haha..

Ankle, leg and foot

No mistaking this little guy for a girl! He is all boy!! We found out this morning and could not be happier! I am so glad Jimmy got to go to the appt with me, he was amazed..Im not gonna lie so was I! Our ultrasound tech was awesome, she told us what everything was and how it worked..we counted all ten fingers and toes. All of the babies organs are there and working. He had a heartbeat in the 150's and the little booger would not stop moving!! He is just shy of 1 pound!! He was in layin in there like a bull frog. He must be practicing for swimming/surfing lessons with daddy!! Here are a few pictures from today!!

19 week baby bump

Here is my growing baby belly at 19 weeks and 3 days. Everything here is still going good, we tried out a new church on Sunday...I think we are going to continue to try a few others before we decide on one to go to every sunday! Our baby furniture was delivered today so he or she now has a beautiful crib and dresser! They put it together for us and everything! I cannot wait to decorate the room! As soon as the room gets looking good Ill post some pictures!!

Whats new?

I know the last time I blogged I promised more pictures...well I have been a bad girl..I don't really have many new pictures. I always forget that we have a new camera that actually works, but I will post the few I have taken!
Not too much is going on here, Jimmy goes to work and I stay bored at home until he gets off. So far his schedule has been great! He goes in early and is home most days by 1, he gets Fridays off when he is in port! We have been going to the pool almost everyday..working on our tans!! It is so extremely hot here!! We have done some baby furniture shopping and I think we know what we want...it is crazy how nice they make baby furniture! I told him our baby will have a nicer bed than us!! ;) Yesterday was Coast Guard Day and 6 years since Jimmy enlisted! Crazy how time flies by!
I have been going to a chiropractor three times a week and it is so nice, not only to get outta the house but I get a 15 minute massage on my back every time I go...since the baby has started growing bigger my back has been bothering me so I enjoy going. Jimmy and I also went to my see my new OB and we have a due date of December 31st 2009. So I will be 19 weeks tomorrow, I am feeling the baby get stronger everyday. He or she is a marathon runner already...but it didn't come from me!! That gene came from the Allen side! Hopefully Ill find out at my next appointment what we are having, I will definitely update the blog here in a week or so once i find out!
Now to come up with a baby name...we have a few but nothing set in stone! I wanted to say Happy Birthday to everyone who has an August birthday! That would be all the women in Jimmy's family including me!! :) I am praying for a visit from someone here in the next few weeks when Jimmy leaves me for three weeks..hopefully my sister or my parents will come down for a weekend! Well enough for now, off to fold some clothes...yay!! :)
