Florida Living..

Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since I have updated this thing! May was such a long time ago...well, so it seems!! Soo since May LOTS has happened!

For starters...Jimmy and I are expecting our first bundle of Joy this January! I didn't find out I was prego till we got to NC, what a nice Mother's day gift we got to give our mommas! As of today I am 15 weeks and I'm feeling pretty good. Jimmy and I are both so excited, we know that God has truly blessed us and we cannot wait to see what our baby will look like.( the picture above is a 9.5 week ultrasound)

More good news is Jimmy got promoted, he is now a Petty Officer first class, or so they call him a BM1. I am so proud of Jimmy, he works so hard and always gives 110%, he never brags or gets a big head about anything! But I am very proud of my hubby and I know the guys that work with and for him really admire and look up to him :)

We left NC last Tuesday, stopped for the night in St. Augustine FL( my prego self couldn't drive anymore) and finally made it to Miami on Wednesday. After two days of house hunting and morning noon and night sickness we found a place to stay. We are living in a town called Pembroke Pines, it is about 25 minutes from Sector Miami, Jimmy has to drive a little ways to get to work but it is better for us as a family to live outside of the city. So far I am loving the area..we are definitely the minority but our apartment community seems peaceful enough and I think I will like it here. It is very HOT here, it also rains everyday!! Good thing we like rain! :)

Well enough for now, I have more unpacking to do, the movers came yesterday and this place is a mess...plus I am getting my Internet connection off someone in the area...oopsie!!
